Mumbai Fire LIVE Updates: Fire On Top Floor Of High-Rise In Worli photo

MUMBAI:   A fire broke out today at a high-rise building located on Veer Savarkar Marg in Mumbai’s Worli.  Fire broke out at Beau Monde Towers in Worli’s Prabhadevi. Firefighting operations are underway. While, 90-95 people have been rescued it is not clear if there are people stuck inside the building yet. Police personnel, at least 10 fire tenders, 5 jumbo tankers, 2 hydraulic platforms and ambulances are present at the spot.
. The fire brigade has reached the spot and the fire-fighting is underway. Fire brigades have started fire-fighting operations and no casualties have been reported so far. Reports suggest the top two floors of the building, where Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone also resides, are badly affected.As per a fire department official, “The fire broke out at about 2 pm, on the 32 and 33rd floor of the building and the top two floors are badly affected. Five to six fire engines have been sent to the spot said officials of the fire brigade .  At the time of 3:24pm: Rescue teams evacuated 90-95 people from the building .
