The directors of the Indian company are Kumar Krishnan Iyer and Hyunil Sohn. The company was incorporated on November 21, 2020 in Karnataka with a paid up capital of Rs 5 lakh and authorised capital of Rs. 15 lakh as subsidiary of foreign company. Iyer is also the director of eight other companies including Accuweather India Private Limited. What does this mean for PUBG Launch in India ?As the ministry has approved the company, it means the comeback is possible and corporation can operate in India very soon. Like any other business, the game can operate its India office and start their operations.

It will be a new game created specifically for the Indian market.

Though they still may be asked to take approvals from another Ministry (MEITY). Under the orders of MEITY PUBG and other Chinese Apps were banned in the country.

Why to start new company in India ?

After the ban in India, the game had announced an Indian version but still wasn’t enough to satisfy the corridors of the Indian government. That is the reason MEITY did not react to the comeback announcement.

To further fulfill government criteria and pacify the Indian government, PUBG has now registered their Indian company with Indian director.
