Exit Poll Result 2017 : BJP All the Way in Gujarat and Himachal

First two exit polls for the Gujarat Assembly elections 2017 show a clear advantage for the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), while the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections 2017 is tipped to be a tight contest. Most exit polls predict more than 100 seats for the BJP in Gujarat, comfortably above the 92-seat majority mark in the 182-seat Assembly. Meanwhile, the code of conduct is at the center of the latest war of words between the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), with the former questioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “roadshow” outside the polling booth in Ranip, Ahmedabad. The Election Commission, after several hours of protest by the Congress, finally asked the district collector to submit a report on PM Narendra Modi’s “mini roadshow”. The Congress has accused the poll panel of being partial to the BJP, saying it shot off a notice to Rahul Gandhi yesterday but was mum on the PM.
