NASA’s Satellite has released some videos related to monsoon systems made up of Kerala. In these videos, NASA told that between 13 August and 20 August, heavy rain water was collected in two bands (parts) in India.
Its first part was spread over the northern part of the Indian Peninsula, and its expansion was to the eastern end of the eastern end of the Bay of Bengal, with a rainfall of more than 5 inches towards the western end, which rained 14 inches in a week.
It has also been reported in NASA’s report that due to the geographical location of the Himalayas and Western Ghats, heavy rains have occurred on the southwest coast. This system runs parallel to the Himalayas and the western coast of India, which was at a height of more than 2,000 meters.
In this way, due to Western Ghats, there is more rains in western coastal areas of India. Under the Southwest Monsoon, the moisture contained in the hot Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea, the moisture contained in this mountain range collides with more rain.
It is known that Kerala has been battling the most devastating floods in the past 100 years and so far more than 350 people have died and thousands of people have been displaced.
