Two\u00a0National\u00a0Conference (NC) workers were killed and one was injured in a terror attack which took place in Srinagar’s Karfalli Mohalla on Friday.<\/p>\n

Confirming the same,\u00a0Senior Superintendent\u00a0of Police Imtiaz\u00a0Ismail Parray\u00a0said further investigation in the matter is underway<\/p>\n

In the wake of the attack,\u00a0National\u00a0Conference (NC) l<\/strong>eader Omar Abdullah, while condemning the incident, expressed condolences to the families of the deceased workers and prayed for the speedy recovery of the\u00a0injured worker.<\/p>\n

“I cannot condemn strongly enough the murderous terrorist attack against three of my party workers.\u00a0Nazir Ahmed Bhat\u00a0(working in the office of MLA Shamima Firdous) &\u00a0Mushtaq Ahmed Wani\u00a0have been killed. Allah Jannat naseeb karey,” he tweeted.<\/p>\n

“Shakeel\u00a0Ahmad Zangoo\u00a0has been injured & is in hospital. I pray for his complete & speedy recovery. May the families of Nazir, Mushtaq &\u00a0Shakeel\u00a0find strength in this most difficult time,” another tweet read.<\/p>\n

Former\u00a0Jammu and Kashmir\u00a0chief minister\u00a0Mehbooba Mufti\u00a0also expressed grief over the incident.<\/p>\n

“Pained to hear about the killing of two NC workers. My heart goes out to their families & children. Cannot possibly imagine what they must be going through,” she tweeted.<\/p>\n
