Goa\u00a0Chief Minister\u00a0Manohar Parrikar, who is suffering from a pancreatic ailment, reached the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here for further treatment on Saturday.
\nShedding more light on Parrikar’s health,\u00a0Goa\u00a0assembly Deputy Speaker\u00a0Michael Lobotold ANI that the\u00a0Chief Minister\u00a0had to travel to Delhi due to some complications.
\nHe further said that Prime Minister\u00a0Narendra Modi\u00a0and central ministers are constantly monitoring the situation and a right decision would be taken so that the administrative work of\u00a0Goa\u00a0does not get affected.
\n“Central ministers are monitoring the present situation in\u00a0Goa\u00a0and the right decision in the interest of\u00a0Goans will be taken. Right now, the chief minister has informed that government portfolios will be distributed to the existing ministers so that the administration of\u00a0Goa\u00a0could run smoothly,” he added.
\nEarlier in the year, Parrikar had flown to the United States for treatment and returned to the country in June, after two-and-half months.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
