Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) : Ahead of\u00a0Raksha Bandhan, the\u00a0Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation\u00a0(UPSRTC) will offer free services to women in its buses of all categories, including the AC buses.
\nThe free bus travel facility announced by Chief Minister\u00a0Yogi Adityanath<\/strong>\u00a0will be available from August 25 midnight till August 26 midnight.
\nTo make the occasion of\u00a0Raksha Bandhan\u00a0special for women, the Delhi Division of the Indian\u00a0Railways\u00a0had decided to run ladies special trains to help women travel in a safe and secure manner.
\nAnticipating a higher ridership on the occasion, the\u00a0Delhi Metro\u00a0had made arrangements to run extra trips on August 25 (Saturday) and August 26 (Sunday) to facilitate the public.
\nThe\u00a0Delhi Metro\u00a0will be running 253 extra train trips on Saturday, whereas 598 extra train trips will be made on Sunday in all the lines of the network.
\nAlso, train services would be available for the public from 6 am onwards on Sunday, even in the sections where the services normally start at 8 am.<\/p>\n
