We would love to believe that we\u2019re teaching them the right kind of behavior and thought process that they\u2019d need to flourish as individuals, but how sure are you about what you child is learning and what she is not? What are the most important things or life lessons you need to teach your child? Teach her the importance of sharing with her friends, family, and the less fortunate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tell her it\u2019s ok to fail, but not to give up<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>She needs to be a winner but also needs to know how to lose gracefully. Help her understand that winning and losing is part of the game, what is more, important is, to bounce back and try again.Never put your child under the \u201cSharmaji ka beta,\u201d pressure. It is ok to be different and she needs to be ensured that whatever be her choice, you have her back.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Be honest, even if it hurts<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are times where we lie, and indirectly teach kids that it is ok to lie. But that\u2019s not the lesson you want her to learn, so tell her how it feels good and makes her a better person if she is honest. But it is important if you want her to grow in life.
